Purveying short, sharp, perfectly formed bursts of rock energy that immediately drew favourable comparisons with groups like The Ramones and The Strokes, The Vaccine’s debut album, What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?, was one of the most thrilling indie rock releases of the last 20 years and the most successful debut release of 2011, with UK sales of over 500,000 units to date. In 2020, the seven B-sides from the album’s singles were compiled into a digital-only collection featuring fan favourites like ‘We’re Happening’ and ‘Tiger Blood’. And the following year the 10-track demos collection hit digital platforms, showcasing rough and ready, reverb-heavy versions of the album tracks and B-sides, alongside unreleased songs like ‘Grow Your Hair Out Long’.

 

Neither release has made onto vinyl previously and we are delighted to combine both into one potent Record Store Day exclusive.
