After twelve years of silence, Brazilian thrash legends Violator return with “Unholy Retribution” – eight relentlessly extreme tracks that more than make up for their temporary hiatus. This third studio album channels years of frustration into devastating riffs and uncompromising, vitriolic lyrics. Returning reinvigorated from the underground scene in Brasília, the band is not merely making a comeback, but rather settling a musical score that transforms raw anger into a devastating soundscape.

 

The band brought Belgian producer Yarne Heylen on board specifically for this project. Kill Again owner Antonio Rolldão explains: “He captured the essence of the band, and the end result sounds killer.” The production strikes a perfect balance between organic brutality and surgical precision, while renowned artist Andrei Bouzikov has once again created artwork that captures the album's bitter message.
