"PERFECTLY DEFECT was originally conceived as a bunch of music we were going to hide somewhere on the internet, for people that bought “The Great Deceiver” to dig out and download for free. At some point we started realising, that the music was turning out to be too cool to just stow away, only to be heard by hard core fans.  The music was created and recorded at the same time as “The Great Deceiver”, and it sort of became the strangely nerdy sister to The Great Deceiver. Largely instrumental and experimental, it sort of morphs between heavy, industrial landscapes, to strangely haunting atmospherics, and grimy electro punk. It ranges from catchy choruses to the intangible and strange." - Mortiis
