24 new tracks from Nine Inch Nails: the duo of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross will release their album for the Disney cult film "TRON: Ares" on September 19, 2025, including the new single "As Alive As You Need Me To Be". This continues the band's successful soundtrack history: their previous soundtracks for films such as "The Social Network" (2010), "Soul" (2020) and "Challengers" (2024) have been awarded two Oscars, three Golden Globes, an Emmy and a Grammy, among others. Trent Reznor's dark industrial signature perfectly captures the mood of the sci-fi series "TRON", for whose last film Daft Punk composed. Reznor's influence on the alternative music world has been unbroken since the late 80s: with hits like "Closer" and "Hurt" as well as albums like "The Downward Spiral", the mastermind combined electronic sounds with rock music like never before. "TRON: Ares" is the first release in five years and delivers 70 minutes of new music - available from 19.09. on CD and vinyl.
