suomi, the Finnish name of the nation high in the north of Europe, is not only the so-called "Land of a Thousand Lakes", but has also been a constant source of highly interesting rock music for decades. One of the most successful acts from Finland is the symphonic rock formation Nightwish, which was launched in the mid-1990s and has been able to place several albums at No. 1 in the German charts alone. Singer Tarja Turunen, a trained soprano and also a founding member of the group, dropped out about ten years later and began releasing music under her own first name in 2006. First in her native language the rather traditional album "Henkäys Ikuisuudesta" and in 2007 her rock opus "My Winter Storm", which conquered chart position 3 in this country, reached gold status and is considered her actual solo debut. On the occasion of the 15th anniversary, this monumental first album will be re-released for the first time and exclusively as a limited double LP on blue vinyl on 04.11.2022.
 
The now reissued edition on blue vinyl also comes up with some additional tracks that were not included on the very first CD edition. For one, "The Seer" both in Tarja's own original and in a duet with German rock shouter Doro Pesch, plus the feverish metal number "Enough" with Brazilian guitarist Kiko Loureiro (Megadeth) and the atmospheric ballad "Wisdom Of Wind", recorded in China, with fantastic soprano cascades.
