Mr. Bungle was founded in 1985 in Eureka, California, by singer Mike Patton, guitarist Trey Spruance, bassist Trevor Dunn, and drummer Jed Watts.

 

In the 1990s, the band released three albums that defied genre classification: Mr. Bungle (1991), Disco Volante (1995), and California (1999).

 

Whether leaning toward death/thrash or avant-garde, Mr. Bungle always hit the nail on the head.

 

The aforementioned albums will be reissued in October 2025 as colored 2-LP editions.
