For the first time ever, Roxette’s spanish-languaged album "Baladas En Español" is being made available on vinyl, expanded with four bonus tracks compared to the original edition.

 

"Baladas En Español" is a 1996 compilation that gathers some of the duo’s most beloved ballads and presents them in Spanish‑language versions. It occupies a unique niche in Roxette's discography as the duo’s first album featuring songs in a language other than English. Positioned between the international greatest‑hits collection "Don’t Bore Us, Get to the Chorus!" (1995) and the studio comeback "Have a Nice Day" (1999), it reflects a moment when Roxette were actively consolidating their massive global popularity.

 

Today, the album is increasingly sought after, especially among collectors and long‑time fans. The original CD and cassette editions have become desirable collector’s items due to their limited regional distribution, and now that the vinyl market has seen a major boom once again, the album has become a highly requested addition to the record collections of Roxette fans - not only in the Spanish‑speaking world, but globally.
