M-Theory Audio is proud to present a special 25th anniversary vinyl reissue of the classic comeback album by German thrash legends DESTRUCTION, ‘All Hell Breaks Loose.’ The 2000 release marked the return of founding bassist/vocalist Schmier (Marcel Schirmer) after being absent from the band for over 12 years and the first official DESTRUCTION album since 1990’s ‘Cracked Brain.’ It also marks the return of the band to a classic three-piece lineup and a return to the band’s Teutonic thrash metal roots. First album of a new deal with Nuclear Blast Records, ‘All hell Breaks Loose’ was produced by the legendary producer Peter Tägtgren (Amon Amarth, Celtic Frost, Sabaton). The album was well received by fans and critic alike with ROCKHARD Magazine saying at the time - “Aside from Peter Tägtgren's production, no concessions have been made to modernity. Mike's all-slashing riffing, rumbling drums, and the incomparable screams of frontman Schmier are oft-copied trademarks cultivated by the indestructible originals on killer albums like 'Infernal Overkill' and 'Eternal Devastation.’ Although the brutal thrashing of the early days has given way to a more dignified presentation, the band's roots are always audible on all the tracks. The release will be available as a limited-edition (500 copies) 2LP gatefold Tears of Blood dotted splatter vinyl and features 5 bonus tracks, including their pummelling METALLICA cover of “Whiplash” and 4 live tracks which contain their ultimate fan favourite “Mad Butcher.”
