Throughout her long career, Lucinda Williams has never shied away from writing about difficult but real things. World’s Gone Wrong captures Williams responding to global and personal upheaval through deeply human songs that balance grit with grace. Joined by Mavis Staples, Norah Jones, and Brittney Spencer, she channels blues, country, and rock traditions into something profoundly of its time.
