40th Anniversary Edition: on transparent purple vinyl features the original studio album, remastered for the 40th anniversary and cut from the original tapes using the “half-speed mastering” process.

The album *Orgasmatron*, released in 1986, was recorded by the Motörhead lineup of Lemmy, Phil Campbell, Würzel, and Pete Gill. The record marked a musical shift toward a harder sound, while retaining the speed and rawness that characterized the band’s earlier work.

Although the album’s production has sparked plenty of debate over the years among both the band and their fans, it features some of Motörhead’s most iconic classics—including “Orgasmatron,” “Deaf Forever,” and “Built For Speed”—and is now considered one of the most highly regarded releases in the band’s catalog. With its blend of hard rock, heavy metal, and punk influences, *Orgasmatron* remains a significant album in the band’s history and, even nearly four decades later, is still an absolute fan favorite.
