Ross The Boss needs no introduction to fans of American heavy metal. His wild riffs and furious solos defined the sound of the legendary Manowar’s first, now-iconic releases. “Born of Fire” is Ross’s solo album, originally released in 2020. The album is a tribute to classic American heavy metal, characterized by powerful riffs and epic melodies which are familiar to Manowar fans. The songs are in the style and tradition of ‘80s music, but Ross definitely doesn’t fall into nostalgia. Fans of interesting and creative guitar work will also find something to enjoy on “Born of Fire.”
