Assinalando o 70.º aniversário dos seus singles originais em 1949, “The
Complete Birth of the Cool” de Miles Davis é agora reeditado em 2LP e em
CD. A edição em vinil inclui o clássico álbum de Miles Davis, “Birth of the
Cool”, bem como um segundo LP com material ao vivo de 1948, nunca
antes disponível em vinil. Esta edição contém ainda um ensaio retrospetivo
de Ashley Kahn, o autor de “Kind of Blue: The Making of the Miles Davis
Masterpiece”. O 1.º LP foi masterizado a partir das gravações analógicas
originais, pela primeira vez desde o lançamento original de “Birth of the Cool”
em 1957.
