It is a profound honor for us to once again be entrusted by Heavenwood to bring another landmark album to vinyl for the very first time!

‘Swallow’ was originally released in 1998, featuring guest appearances from Liv Kristine [Theatre of Tragedy] and Kai Hansen [Gamma Ray / Helloween]. That same year, Heavenwood made history as the first Portuguese metal act to perform at the legendary Wacken Open Air Festival, playing to an expansive crowd of fans from around the world. Following this milestone, the band embarked on extensive European tours alongside acts such as Atrocity, Solitude Aeturnus, and Saviour Machine.

Praised as a true sensation in leading metal publications—including Metal Hammer, Rock Hard, and Terrorizer Magazine—Heavenwood’s early work cemented their place as pioneers of the Portuguese metal scene.
