Neal Morse & The Resonance return with “River of Light,” their powerful second studio album and the highly anticipated follow-up to the critically acclaimed 2024 album “No Hill For A Climber.” “River of Light” is a captivating concept album that explores themes such as faith, perseverance, loss, and redemption through some of the most ambitious musical pieces of Neal Morse’s career.

Building on the chemistry that made their debut such a success, Neal Morse and his bandmates have expanded their songwriting process to create an album that blends classic progressive rock influences with fresh ideas from a new generation of musicians. The result is a dynamic collection of songs that combines rousing melodies, complex arrangements, powerful musical skill, and memorable rock hooks. Standout tracks include the rousing singles “Walk on Water” and “Shine Until Tomorrow,” as well as expansive prog epics that showcase the band’s virtuosity.

Featuring extraordinary performances by guitarist Andre Madatian, singer Jonny Bisaha, drummer Philip Martin, and Morse himself—who plays a prominent role on bass throughout the album—“River of Light” showcases a band that is pushing its creative boundaries while remaining true to the spirit of classic progressive rock.
