MTV Unplugged by Alice In Chains was originally recorded in 1996 and features one of the band's most intense and captivating live moments. The concert was recorded at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York and showcases the band in a subdued, acoustic format, where their characteristic blend of haunting melodies, powerful harmonies, and emotional depth emerges even more clearly.

 

The setlist features alternative interpretations of some of the band's most beloved songs, including "Nutshell", "Down in a Hole", "Rooster", "Would?" and "Brother", where the simple arrangements underscore the quality of the songwriting and the unique interplay between the band members.

 

After many years of being sold out and highly sought after by collectors, this iconic live album finally returns to vinyl with a new reissue in 2026.
