Amyl And The Sniffers

Truth or Consequence is a live album and soundtrack to the concert film of the same name, where Amyl & the Sniffers present country-inspired versions of their own songs, two previously unreleased tracks, and an interpretation of the Slim Dusty classic "Lights On The Hill". The album was recorded and filmed on April 28, 2025, in front of an intimate – and eventually quite boisterous – audience at El Coyote in Los Angeles by the band's longtime collaborator John Angus Stewart.

 

Lead singer Amy Taylor has previously demonstrated her abilities in the country and Americana universe through a remarkable collaboration with Viagra Boys on a reinterpretation of John Prine's song "In Spite of Ourselves".
