Written deep in north London’s Seven Sisters district and brought to life in Los Angeles under the seasoned hand of producer Greg Kurstin, 'The Clearing' finds the British quartet expanding their sonic palette, leaning into the timeless grandeur of ’70s rock while filtering it through their unmistakable indie rock sensibilities. Across the album, the band balances expansive anthems with intimate moments: from riff‑heavy surges to quieter passages that foreground Rowsell’s poetic lyricism.
