OBLITERATION

 More from this Band

Reissue of the second full-length album "Nekropsalms" from Norwegian death metal act OBLITERATION!

OBLITERATION is a young Death metal band from Kolbotn (home of Darkthrone, Aura Noir, Lamented Souls among others), Norway. They started out in 2001 and have ever since left a trail of destruction behind them with HELLBLAZING gigs and rock solid releases. Obliteration got the honor to be the youngest band EVER to play at the Inferno Festival in 2005.

OBLITERATION released the "Total Fucking Obliteration" 7” on Duplicate records soon after, and several gigs followed, with bands like Aura Noir, Dismember, Waklevren, Old, Sabbat(uk), Shining among others, and several festival appearances(Hole in the Sky, etc.).

In the year 2009 OBLITERATION finished the recording of a fresh new album, ready to be unleashed upon this earth.  "Nekropsalms" is a cosmic blend of old school death metal mixed with the best elements from doom, punk, thrash and old school black metal, OBLITERATION have finally found their own repulsive style!
