VANSIND return with their second album, “Hævnen,” which will be released on May 1, 2026, via Mighty Music. Following their debut, “Mørket” (2023), the Danish folk metal warriors deliver a sharper, more powerful album that deals with revenge, loyalty, loss, and sacrifice. “With Hævnen, we delve into the consequences of decisions and standing by your beliefs, no matter what the cost,” says the band. Hard-hitting riffs meet ancient folk melodies, blending growls, clean vocals, bagpipes, and tin whistles into a raw yet cinematic sound. Rooted in Norse mythology and Scandinavian history, the album bridges the struggles of ancestors and modern human existence.
