The central theme of COME is that of intoxication. The present discussion pertains to the phenomena that occur, and may occur, in the various phases of different states of intoxication. The question of what is real, and what is not, and to what extent any impressions may be trusted, must be addressed. As has been previously established, there are numerous methods by which the human mental and physical state may be altered in such a manner that the perception thereof is influenced. In these states, uncontrolled thoughts, feelings and sensations arise that may be both beautiful and threatening in nature. The songs on the album deal with these impressions, with narratives that frequently don‘t follow any logic. They flow into one another; there is no real beginning or end. The listener should be given the

opportunity to accept the invitation to ‘Come’ and embark on this journey, allowing their own impressions to emerge, as every instance of intoxication is unique.

The album was intentionally produced in the style of a thoroughly organic and retro-oriented analogue production at WIDE NOISE Studio, with the aim of preserving the band‘s signature sound and continuing along the path laid out by “Acid River”. A special highlight is that band member and drummer Andre Schaltenberg takes turns with Christoph Hesse, the founding member and first drummer of the band, within each song.
