A Day Late And A Dollar Short" is a compilation of The Queers earlier material from 1982 through 1994. Originally released in 1996 by Lookout! Records, it was remastered by Mass Giorgini and re-released in 2007 by Asian Man Records. It is now back on CD for the first time on over 10 years courtesy of Rad Girlfriend Records. The Album's first 13 tracks comprise their first two EPs "Love Me" and "Kicked Out Of The Webelos". The next 16 tracks were recorded in a single session in 1993. Most of the tracks ended up on the "Too Dumb To Quit", "Look Ma No Flannel" and "My Old Man's A Fatso" EPs. Folowing this material are three outtakes from that session. That lineup performed a 16 song set on New Jersey's WFMU, which is the final track on the album. The remaining four tracks on the record are demos of songs that end up on later Queers albums in an attempt to get Ben Weasel to produce their album. Many of these songs are still staples in The Queers live set today.
