Originally released in March 1969, 'From Genesis To Revelation' was the debut album by Genesis, the first step on a pathway that took the band to considerable success and acclaim. This vinyl edition is the first re-issue of the album to have been prepared with the approval of original band members Tony Banks, Peter Gabriel, Anthony Phillips and Mike Rutherford and features a wonderful new stereo mix by Stephen W Tayler, presenting the album in a new form, focussing more on the band contributions with less emphasis on the orchestrations of the original album mixes. The new mixes are both remarkable and revealing. Additionally, the set includes remixes of 'A Winter's Tale', 'One Eyed Hound' and album out-takes 'Image Blown Out' and 'Visions of Angels' (previously unreleased).
