Pathology is an American  Death Metal band. Hailing from San Diego, California, Pathology was formed in the beginning of 2006 by drummer Dave Astor (The Locust, Cattle Decapitation). In September of 2006 the band released the debut demo album "Surgically Hacked" on Amputated Vein Records (Japan). In July of 2007 Pathology signed a deal with Grindhead Records (Australia) to release their second album "Incisions Of Perverse Debauchery" with the help of singer Levi Fuselier (Disgorge) on February 29, 2008. After "Incisions", Pathology tapped into the talents of vocalist Matti Way (also ex-Disgorge) for the new CD "Age Of Onset", which was released through Comatose records on June 23, 2009. In September of 2009, Matti Way amicably left the band to focus on his personal life, and vocalist Pascual Romero stepped in as the new vocalist, but later Matti came back and also Diego Sanchez (ex-Disgorge) was added as a second guitarist. The band will be adding a bassist to become a 5-piece when touring commences in May 2010. [1]  In December of 2009, the band signed with Victory Records who will release their upcoming 2010 album. This will be recorded in Doubletime Studios with producer/engineer Jeff Forrest and then it will be mixed by Erik Rutan at his own Mana Studios.
