On 7th November 2014, Carter USM made their last ever radio appearance performing a special gig for Steve Lamacq on his BBC 6Music show. Steve said "Carter USM were one of the first bands I championed while working at the NME, from the backrooms of London's pubs to the top of the summer festival bills.. so it's sad they're properly calling it a day, but we wanted a proper tribute for them and for all the listeners who've followed them down the years."
