" They went out through the back door, into the thick fog
That had glued itself to the city’s skin.
The already dim street light had transformed itself into ghosts that vanished.
I stayed sitting in the blood coloured sofa, aiming the revolver at that bunch of meninos.
They were six, grumpy faces, well dressed, malodorous, footman as always.
While the two of them ran through the streets into the infinite,
I kept these at the distance of a bullet.
Then, the one with the moustache came in, the mexican with the rabbit skin overcoat.
That’s when the six went looking for them.
“tus amigos…. Esos que se hacen llamar músicos, están muertos!”
I laughed, got up and left.
Days later we met in a far away hotel and celebrated getting out alive
From that stinky hole in which the city had become. “a bunch of meninos”
We shouted while we emptied another bottle.
When i woke up, with the sun ripping through the white of the curtains,I was alone, once again… "
