'Katatonia', the Swedish representatives of dark progressive rock/metal, present their tenth studio album. The official successor of "Dead End Kings" was recorded in the Studio Gröndahl & Tri-lamb in Stockholm. Anders Nyström & Jonas Renske produced it themselves. Jens Bogren (Opeth, Ihsahn, Devin Townsend) mixed and mastered it at Fascination Street Studios with Karl Daniel Lidén (Switchblade, The Ocean, Greenleaf) as engineer. 'Katatonia' explore their musical boarders beyond their metal roots and impress fans of bands like Opeth and Anathema. At the same time, they cement their status as one of the most appreciated and loved bands in modern heavy music. "The Fall of Hearts" is the first album with their new drummer Daniel 'Mojjo' Moilanen and with the newly recruited guitar player Roger Öjersson (Tiamat), who joined the band just in time to contribute some glowing solos.
