Catharsis. I think that's the best way to describe this album. It is a huge 20 minute onslaught of power and emotion that makes you feel as though you've been holding your breath for the entire time as the pressure continues to build and, at the end of it all, you let out a huge sigh of bliss. 

The lyrics are very personal and yet strangely universal. Every song feels like something everyone can relate to but, at the same time, you can tell that they come from the heart and from experience. 

Instrumentally, the song structures are all fairly similar simply because they're all very short and snappy tracks which is incredibly refreshing in a genre that often prides itself on complexity. This album perfectly combines very raw punk rock with the melody and emotion of post-hardcore. 

 

If I could, I'd plead with every music lover in the world to get this album and stick it on repeat for days. It's that good, go get it. Now!
